Keeping orchestra students up-to-date!!

Welcome to Mrs. Vaziri’s blog page!!

Thursday, February 9th will be the winter 5th grade concert featuring the 6th grade orchestra and band. Students must be in the gym by 6:15PM wearing white on top and black on bottom. If you would like a copy of the half sheet explaining the concert, click here. If you need a copy of the February/March calendar, go to the calendar page.

Symphonic Orchestra: Please work on the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. click here. If you would like to view the real Sorcerer’s Apprentice cartoon on youtube, click here

Chamber Orchestra: Concert is soon! Please make sure to practice as much as you can to make a good performance, which I know that you all can definitely do :)

Please listen to these new pieces. We are definitely doing Riders in the Night, but I am unsure of the other ones. However, we will be looking at ALL of them, so listen to all on the list:

Riders in the Night
Amazing Grace
Medieval Kings
Russian Music Box

Concert Orchestra: Isma’a is incredibly difficult… do not fall behind on practice.

Isma\'a (listen) – difficult rhythms
Shenandoah

Don’t forget about the scholarship applications (ask Mrs. V), and especially don’t forget about getting those Solo & Ensemble forms turned in (Concert Orchestra).

Remember, I am reachable at all times, even during the break. Keep in contact with questions or comments whenever through the blog or email.
