Here are some of the tentative dates for the 2011-2012 school year. These are not permanent and subject to change:

August 25th: first AM rehearsal with concert orchestra 7:15 AM; 9th period for Chamber Orchestra (6th grade)
Recruitment tour TBA
Beginning of October: IMEA auditions (dates coming soon)
October 27th (Thurs.): Algonquin pops/Halloween concert 7 PM
November 5th: IMEA District 7 Festival (All day); Wauconda HS
November 17th: 5th grade band & orchestra concert 7 PM
December 20th: Algonquin Winter Concert 7 PM
December 21st: Winter Concert Assembly (morning)
January 18th: Maine West/District 62 Festival
Mid-February: AMS solo & ensemble contest (date and details TBA)
February 9th: 5th grade band & orchestra concert 7 PM
May 2nd and 3rd: Recruitment tour to elementaries
May 23rd (Wed.): Chorus and Orchestra (5-8) concert 7 PM
