Want to earn extra credit or a MPP card? Go to any concerts I list on this page, bring me the program, and you will receive your EC or MPP card.
Always check out the Maine West website for their concert schedule. It is a great idea to go to these concerts because it gives you a hint of where you might be down the road when you get to high school!
The Northwest Symphony might be a great option because they are student friendly (free tickets), and they perform right here in Des Plaines. Check out their postcard and the school letter to get great deals on tickets!
Also, if you would like to see Mrs. Vaziri play, and your family doesn’t mind a nice Saturday drive to Naperville, please check out the DuPage Symphony Website for upcoming concerts!
During the summer months, it is a good idea to either get a private teacher, or go to a summer string camp if you can afford it. I have a flier for a string camp at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater campus if anyone is interested. It’s a little expensive, but they have a whole lot to offer and it’s an entire week of camp. Let me know if you would like a flier to look at and I can get you a copy.
